Darin Wiebe
Co-Owner
Darin Wiebe, in partnership with Jon Baerg, recently became the proud owner of Walbern as of November 1st, 2024. Growing up on a poultry, grain, and farm, he brings 25 years of expertise in both agriculture and construction to the company.
He looks forward to working closely with his customers and team to foster growth and drive success at Walbern and for our customers.
Jon Baerg
Co-Owner
Jon Baerg, along with partner Darin Wiebe, recently acquired Walbern as of November 1st, 2024. Raised on a mixed grain and hog farm, he brings 25 years of experience in both agriculture and construction to the business.
Jon is eager to collaborate with his customers and team, driving growth and success at Walbern and for our customers.
Merv Rieger
Sales
Merv has worked at Walbern for 44 years. His first eleven years were a total learning experience in shipping, receiving, hopper bin installation, deliveries, etc. On May 31, 1991 he decided to purchase the company with his wife and has been working sales, purchasing, deliveries, loading and unloading trucks.
On November 1st, 2024 Merv and his wife sold the company to Darin Wiebe and Jon Baerg. Merv continues to be a familiar trustworthy face in sales with Walbern.
Merv is very pleased to have his co-workers working with him to provide good customer service to our valued customers.

Dale Salomons
Sales | Service
Dale has worked at Walbern for 36 years in Sales and Service. His positive attitude, extreme electronics and computer knowledge, strong work ethics, along with his desire to give good customer service help him to excel in the field.
He is well respected and his reputation for good service helps him with new sales as well as repeat business.

Arlys Davis
Accounting | Customer Service
Arlys has worked at Walbern for 43 years in accounting, freight co-coordinating, customer service and shipping/receiving.
Her farming experience along with a strong work ethic and good management skills help the company run smoothly and efficiently.
Shawna Cook
Receptionist | Customer Service
Shawna has recently joined Walbern, answering phones, invoicing, shipping/receiving and other additional administration.
Shawna has an extensive background in business administration, human resources and customer service. Her welcoming smile, positive demeanor and can-do attitude ensures customers that they will receive an exceptional experience here at Walbern.
Bruce Saloomons
Installation | Service | Technician
Bruce has been with Walbern for 9 years now doing installation, service and deliveries.
Bruce has 17 years experience in Assembly of Steel Buildings along with 24 Years experience in the Oil Patch. He has helped us previously part time which makes him familiar with our Products. Growing up on an Egg Farm in Central Alberta gives him a good insight into the Poultry Industry.

Lyle Megli has worked for Walbern for 2 years now. Lyle joined us after spending the past 25 years in the Oil and Gas Automation Industry. He is excited to use his expertise and knowledge to support the Walbern Team in bringing value add service and support to our customers.
